Uglies (Uglies, #1) by Scott Westerfeld

My rating: 3 stars

I thought the book would focus on parties and booze - because at the first part, pretties (the term used for 'cured' teenagers) were described as party goers, no curfews and can get whatever they want. They'd even make fun of 'uglies' (another term used for the uncured) and wouldn't even mingle with them. I had to reach the middle part of the book to fully understand what the story is all about - because Most chapters on the book focused on Tally's journey to the smoke. Story has a moral lesson and shows the true value of friendship.

4 stars only because i couldn't feel the love tea, of David and Tally.
