This is a great novella to read just before you jump into
Boundless. A merely good book to take a break from the world of Angels. Though
a part of this book is still associated with angels, it’s just mild and a feel
good book.
The novella tells the few weeks’ vacation of Angela and
Clara on Italy. Clara decided to join Ange as a perfect escape from the not so
good memories that happened to her in Wyoming. This is where Phen; Angela’s
love interest was introduced. Like how and where they met, and how Angela tried
to seduce Phen. Yes, seduce was the term that was used on the book. Can you
just imagine an Angel trying to seduce another Angel?
Though most POV’s came from Angela, I still find her personality
very cryptic. I couldn’t seem to figure out if she’s nice or could turn out in
the long run a Black Wing. Her jealousness became resilient on this novella.
She was jealous of Clara being too beautiful and the one who gets more
challenging missions. I am now thinking that Angela might do something bad that
would endanger Clara’s life on Boundless.
